Learning to ride should be joyful-not stressful. Our Learn to Ride programs help kids balance, pedal, and steer with confidence at their own pace. From first rides to training wheels off, we’ve got them covered.
BALANCE BUDDIES
Balance Buddies is the perfect first step for young riders who are brand new to biking. Using balance bikes (no pedals!), kids learn how to glide, steer, and stay upright, building the foundation that makes pedaling so much easier later on.

PEDAL PALS
Pedal Pals is designed for kids who are ready to take the next big step: pedaling on their own. Riders start by building on the balance and gliding skills they already have, then progressively learn how to:

Getting your child ready for Balance Buddies or Pedal Pals shouldn’t feel like gearing up for a mountain expedition. Here’s everything your young rider needs, simple, straightforward, and confidence-building for both of you.

Bike & Helmet Provided

No need to bring your own, bikes and helmets will be provided through the Velo Kids Bike Library for your little ripper to borrow each session.

Closed-Toe Shoes & Play Clothes

Your rider is about to be very busy… balancing, gliding, wobbling, stopping, and grinning ear-to-ear. Dress for joy (and grass stains).
